Growing Your Stocks and Shares ISA, Personal Pension and SIPP - 3 Essential Skills for Tax-Free Wealth Building – Part 1

Hello,

I have been an active investor for over a decade now and since 1997 I have been fortunate to make a tax-free gain on my original starting capital of 1688%.

My goal is simple: beat the market over the long-term.

If you want some shorter term statistics, in 2009, I fortunately beat the market scoring 62.9% on my ISA portfolio and 76.5% on my personal pension. In 2010 I’m grateful that the success continued with a further 27.2% added to my ISA account and an extra 43.7% on my pension account.

How to Beat the Market over the Long-Term

On Wednesday I shared with you why people want to know how to beat at the market. This is not easy to do. In fact 90% of professional fund managers fail to beat the market. And so notice here that 10% do beat it and many of those 10% will be people who beat it consistently. These are the ones to focus one. The method I use that has fortunately helped me to beat the market since 1999 is something called ISA Trend Investing.

This method of investing is not flawless, but the timing element has managed to catch the start of every single bull market (up market) in the last 50 years. As always, timing is everything.
