This week I want to share with you something that many people are talking about. It’s called the ISA Switch Alert.
The ISA Switch Alert allows you to “shadow invest” me. This means you can achieve almost identical returns to what I get on my Stocks and Shares ISA portfolio – and retain full control of your account.
From 1997 to the end of 2009, my ISA account has seen growth of 1150%. This is probably one of the reasons people like to follow my lead.
In case you didn’t know, my main objective is to outperform the Nasdaq Composite over the long-term.
Shadow investing is simple, effective and extremely time friendly. The ISA Switch Alert provides you with a fly on the wall view to what I’m doing with my Stocks and Shares ISA account.
It’s like being able to look over my shoulder – to see exactly what I am doing – and when I am doing it - so that you can match my trades. This means that if you decided to copy me, you’d be able to get almost identical returns to what I am getting – and all in just three minutes.
The 3 minutes promise is based on the amount of time it takes you to read your ISA Switch Alert. The length of time it takes to read an ISA Switch Alert has been timed – and it really does take less than 3 minutes. The way you shadow invest me is simply by reading an electronic report called an ISA Switch Alert.
Reading an ISA Switch Alert is a little bit like receiving a personal telephone call from me to share with you what investment decisions I am making in relation to my Stocks and Shares ISA account, so that you can do the same.
In Friday’s blog I’m going to look at a couple of common questions that get asked about this premium service that I believe you’ll find very useful.

Warning: Past performance is not a guide to future returns. The price of shares and fund units, and the income from them, can go down as well as up. You might get back less than you invest. If a Fund invests in small companies, these are likely to be less liquid than larger companies, which means that fluctuations in price may be greater than for larger companies. The value of investments may rise or fall due to the volatility of world markets, interest rates and capital values or, for investments held in overseas markets, changes in the rate of exchange in the currency in which the investments are denominated. The favourable tax treatment currently applicable to ISAs and PEPs may not be maintained in the future. Tax concessions are not guaranteed and may change at any time; their value will depend on your individual circumstances.
