How Goal Setting Can Lead to Financial Freedom
Recently on this website I gave you a formula for becoming a ‘liquid’ millionaire using ISA Trend Investing.
I also told you how it is possible to turn your first million into £75 million if you make it a goal to become a centenarian (someone who lives to be 100).
And in my previous article I talked about the power of beliefs when it came to life expectancy.
Today I want to share with you what I consider to be another big factor in living longer and at the same time maximizing your probability of financial success.
Do You Have an Ultimate Goal in Life?
I like to refer to this other factor in living longer as your Ultimate Goal in Life.
My brother Paul and I have learned that if you want to live and experience an extraordinary life, it is a wise idea to have a big challenging life goal, something that you are intensely passionate about, a goal that fills you with excitement.
Apparently, the best ultimate goals are ones that get you to stretch and grow into the person you are truly capable of becoming. This ultimate goal is what bestselling author Napoleon Hill referred to as your Major Definite Purpose.
To help a person attain true peace of mind, their ultimate goal ideally needs to be a double win situation.
Here is a personal example to explain exactly what I mean.
Stephen and Paul’s Ultimate Goal
Our ultimate goal is to build a foundation that provides Super Schools for deserving individuals.
The schools will provide world-class education.
The schools will be unique. The education taught will be a combination of traditional subjects and ones which are not normally covered by the current school curriculum. We refer to these subjects as life skills.
The life skills taught cover subjects such as “Cognitive Psychology”, “The Self Concept, The Self Ideal and The Self Image”, “The Power of the Subconscious Mind”, “Choice Theory”, “Success”, “How to Win in Life”, “Thinking”, “How to Negotiate”, “Achievement”, “Accelerated Learning Techniques”, “Leadership”, “Goal Setting”, “How to Increase Your Confidence and Self-Esteem”, “Happiness”, “Wealth Building”, “Influence and Persuasion”, “Sales and Marketing”, “Secrets to Effective Communication”, “Problem Solving”, “Health, Wellbeing and Life Extension”, “Multiple Intelligences” and “Business-Building.”
The goal of the school is to produce leaders, experts and authorities in every conceivable field known to man. This in turn helps to make a huge contribution to our planet.
So there you have it. That is our Ultimate Goal.
